The seminar house Moringen is situated in a very scenic location 3 km from the small town of Moringen in southern Lower Saxony. The nearest larger towns are Northeim (9 km) and Göttingen (30 km). The A7 motorway is 4 km away.

The house – the former Stenneberg Mill built in half-timbered style – has been owned by Brahma Kumaris since 2016 and has been constantly renovated and expanded since then. It is nestled in an idyllic landscape of hills and valleys, as if one were transported to a world of German folk song, fairy tales and German romanticism. In addition to the possibility of a single room, the house offers accommodation for about 50 people in double rooms. There are also two well-equipped kitchens and a spacious dining room with a terrace. Two larger seminar rooms, two further group rooms and a large function room in the “Auditorium”, the converted former barn, offer groups the opportunity to hold workshops and seminars. The auditorium is an excellent venue for concerts, lectures or exhibitions.

The seminar house has a large outdoor area with a quiet garden, an orchard and a large vegetable garden as well as many beautiful seating areas that invite people to linger and exchange ideas. The surrounding area also invites you to take relaxing walks through woods and meadows. A solar and photovoltaic system as well as a heat pump provide sustainable electricity and hot water.  

We offer a varied programme for people who are interested in or already familiar with Raja Yoga meditation and philosophy. The focus is on meditation. The offer includes introductory seminars for those who want to learn the path of meditation, deepen it or also cultivate inner contemplation in silence days. Spiritual women’s seminars, as well as other thematic seminars dealing with the implementation of Raja Yoga in practical life, are also part of the offer – such as inner balance, conflict resolution, stabilisation of the way of life through an appreciative cooperation. Action weekends (so-called “Karma Yoga”) are also very popular.  They offer the opportunity to spend a weekend in a relaxed atmosphere, well fed with vegetarian/vegan food, helping with practical tasks such as gardening or woodworking.

All events are offered on a donation basis, almost all helpers in the house are volunteers. Regardless of financial means, we want to make it possible for everyone interested to attend our events and to develop spiritually. The house is run by a non-profit association: Brahma Kumaris Raja Yoga Deutschland e.V.
